Women who exercise certain pelvic muscles have fewer bladder problems later on. These muscles are called pelvic floor muscles. Only the women of modern or civilized society have to face such problems during their pregnancy. In the control group, 26 percent of the women, or 21 out of 80 patients, became pregnant. Always keep your health care provider informed of what is going on during this time to insure the best care. Some women will actually need to have intravenous fluids due to dehydration.
