i think its cool if others want to get them done but to me ots just one more thing to go into storage…

Lots of people do them. I’m not into it…what would I do with it? Hang it on the wall? I think it would be one of those things that ends up collecting dust in the closet. But if your heart is set on it, you should go for it!

I have never done it yet but it sounds like a fun idea!
I just don’t know what I would do with it afterwards! LOL

I’d love to get them done. you can buy a packaged kit that tells you how to do it. i think it’s a great idea, unless you HATE your belly. i plan on getting one done when I’m pregnant. thanks for the link. not too sure about the nipples showing, though…i think my mother would kind of freak out…

Although I’ll love my baby when its born. I don’t want to remebr my fat days. I’m already overweight, and have to gain more. I don’t want a souvenir from when i was huge.

I did one and it’s actually up in my twins baby room they’re 2 months by the way lol and I think it just completes the room it’s so great.

I am about 13 weeks now and I do plan on doing it! I think it is something creative you can do while your passin the time when your waiting for your little one. I researched it quite a bit when I found out I was pregnant and many women said they just ended up in the garage collecting dust, but alot of women decorate them and hang them in the nursery! You can also do it yourself! they sell the stuff to do it at Michael’s or you can have someone professionally do it. I think I may just do it myself though. Your not wierd, its just not everyone’s cup of tea!

I personally wouldn’t do it……what do you do with it after? I prefer to go with the professional photos.

i’m still thinking about it.. with my first two i didn’t.. but i’m now carring twins and i’m going to get sooo big.. so i’m thinking about it.. but for now i’m taking pictures and tracking it that way…

As a Doula I have seen one on the wall in a few babies rooms.
One that was by the crib was awesome. She painted it and then had everyone sign it.
Even the great grandparents. I loved that. Because there is a huge chance the child will not get to know them well as they age.
(Hers did include the breast and was very tastefully)
My sons are older so there was no such thing out there that is as safe as there is now. Least I never saw one.
I was left with taking pictures lol.

My friend got a belly cast and when she had the baby had some amazing pictures done with the belly cast and the baby, so no i don’t really think its weird to do it, i think of it as a memory, i think its kinda cool i wish i had of done it but i couldn’t find anywhere that would do it for less then $300(total rip off)My friend got it done for $50

my bff is doing once we get money together so she can have it done. she is 23 weeks right now so idk when we’re going to do it.
as for me yes i will get one later on im only 8 weeks far right now. but im going to have everyone sign it and write something nice to remember them by and im going to give it to my children when they decide to become parents.
