Should I Vaccinate My Baby?
A child’s first vaccination is given at birth. Immunizations are scheduled throughout childhood, with many beginning within the first few months of life. Additionally, if you are worried about vaccines and their effects on your infant or any side effects of the vaccinations then you should discuss your worries with the doctor as well. There are many rumors about vaccinations specifically the MMR vaccine causing Autism. If your child is ill and you’re wondering if a vaccine will be safe to take, it probably is, but check with your doctor.
So perhaps, if I’m avoiding synthetic chemicals, then maybe I would think twice about vaccinating my child too? Vaccination schedules may vary somewhat if your child is sick or certain vaccines are unavailable. Or should you avoid them altogether? What is your opinion? If some are included more than once it is because the shot may be given at different times or because the vaccination requires a series of shots. Much of the movement to implement more flexible exemption laws stems from concerns about vaccine safety.
Vaccines are made from the same bacteria or viruses (or parts of them) that cause disease. For example, measles vaccine is made from measles virus and Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib) vaccine is made from parts of the Hib bacteria.
